Retina Consultants of Minnesota Rebrand Wins Health + Wellness Design Award
The new rebrand and logo were designed by IV Interactive to reflect the practice’s roots as well as its future growth.

Retina Consultants of Minnesota, the leading provider of retinal care in Minnesota, was awarded the 2022 Graphic Design USA Health + Wellness Design for their recently launched rebrand. The rebrand and logo were designed by IV Interactive, a full-service digital marketing agency specializing in healthcare marketing.
Retina Consultants of Minnesota came into existence in May of 2021 as a result of two highly-regarded retina practices merging into a singular practice. Prior to uniting, VitreoRetinal Surgery and The Retina Center had operated separately in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Twin Cities metropolitan area for over 30 years. After both practices joined Retina Consultants of America, a national network of retina practices, they decided to combine forces and expand their ability to provide world-class retinal care to patients throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

In need of a new brand and logo that represented both their past and future, Retina Consultants of Minnesota connected with IV Interactive to create a visual expression of their newly formed unity.

The two practices had very different aesthetics prior to the merger. To find the right design, IV Interactive explored a number of creative paths during the process, ultimately landing on the best visual capture that conveyed modernity, strength, and leadership. The rebranding and integrative initiatives were launched in May of 2022.
